There are no problems with the sale of labeled dairy products in retail chains in Ulyanovsk region, - the Ministry of Agriculture
The agency appealed to the Ministry of Agriculture of Ulyanovsk region for clarification, where the situation was commented as follows:
‘As part of the negotiations between retail chains and processing enterprises, the issue of mandatory labeling and application of barcodes was discussed. The retail chains Magnit and Pyaterochka have already discussed their requirements with suppliers of dairy products, everything is in working order, and there are no problems between the parties.
Elena Sorokina, General Director of JSC Gulliver, also reported on the absence of problems with labeling.
‘In any case, so far we have not had any problems with suppliers of labeled products,’ the expert commented. ‘Our network receives a large range of dairy products in different packaging that meet all the necessary norms and standards. It is of different sizes, and the retail chain accepts any one to make it convenient for the consumer. We do not dictate our terms to suppliers, and we do not have the right to do so, so we have not received any requests or complaints.
It should be noted that Gulliver is one of the largest retail chains in the region, which opened in 2002. According to the latest data, the retailer has more than a hundred supermarkets, most of which are located in Ulyanovsk, as well as in Novoulianovsk and Dimitrovgrad. In 2017, the retail chain came to Tolyatti, Samara region, in 2018 - to Balakovo and Volsk, Saratov region.
