The volume of milk sales in agricultural organizations increased by 5.5%

According to operative data of the Ministry of agriculture, as of December 21, 2020 daily sales of milk in agricultural organizations amounted to 47,1 thousand tons, which is 5.6% (2.5 thousand tons) more than last year, reported in the press service of the Ministry to The DairyNews.

The maximum sales volumes were achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar, Voronezh, Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Leningrad, Belgorod, Novosibirsk, Moscow regions and the Udmurt Republic.

The average milk yield per cow per day was 16.85 kg, which is 0.82 kg more than a year earlier. The leaders among the regions in this indicator are Leningrad, Kaliningrad, Penza, Lipetsk, Tula, Vladimir, Kirov, Kaluga, Belgorod, Vologda, Voronezh, Ryazan, Moscow, Sverdlovsk, Krasnodar regions, the Republic of Karelia and Crimea. In these regions, more than 20 kg of milk per cow was obtained.
