The volume of milk sales in agricultural organizations increased by 6.5%

According to operative data of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia, as of June 15, 2020 daily sales of milk in agricultural organizations amounted to 51.3 thousand tons, which is 6,5% more than in 2019 (3.1 million tons), announced in the press service of the Ministry to The DairyNews.

Maximum sales volumes were achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar, Voronezh, Kirov, Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk, Leningrad, Belgorod, Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod regions, the Udmurt Republic and the Altai region.

The average milk yield per cow per day was 18.58 kg, which is 1.15 kg more than a year earlier. The leaders among the regions in this indicator are Leningrad, Kaliningrad, Penza, Lipetsk, Vladimir, Kirov, Kaluga, Vologda, Voronezh, Yaroslavl, Sverdlovsk, Belgorod, Tula, Moscow, Ryazan, Arkhangelsk, Pskov and Tyumen regions, Krasnodar region, the Republic of Crimea, Mari El, Karelia and Mordovia. In these regions, more than 20 kg of milk per cow was obtained.
