Pilletteri Estate Winery is a fully family-owned company, taking the 32nd place in the production of wine in Canada and it is the largest production of ice wine. For the participants of the Motor Rally "Way to milk!" the tour was conducted by Richard Pilletteri, reports The DairyNews.

The new history of the Pillittery family from Sicily began in 1948 in the Canadian city of Niagara-on-the-lake and since the first days was devoted to the creation of heritage for future generations. Today, after more than six decades, the Pillitteri Estates Winery is proud to continue the family tradition of outstanding by skill viticulture and winemaking.

- When three generations of the family are fully immersed in the life of the wine house, each bottle of wine that we produce becomes the fruit of the passion of our family. We are proud of the opportunity to share the fruits of our work with wine connoisseurs from all over the world and consider everyone who enjoys Pillitteri wines a part of our family", said Richard Pillitteri.

The farm is located in Niagara-on-the-lake in Ontario, Canada, on the same territory as the first fruit shop and family farm.

40% of production is red wine, 30% - ice wine, the rest is white wine. The farm produces 120 thousand boxes of wine - 12 bottles in one box. It is planned to increase production up to 200 thousand boxes of wine.
