Stavropol LLC Vinsadsky dairy plant will be modernized for 200 million rubles. The company produces more than 33 types of dairy and fermented dairy products: milk, cottage cheese, sour cream, butter, kefir, ryazhenka, reported in the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture to The DairyNews.

In the near future, the company plans to increase production capacity and expand the product range through the implementation of the investment project. The plant wants to make a special emphasis on the processing of cow milk on the line of cheeses. The cost of modernization is 200 million rubles, its completion is planned for this year.

‘We get raw materials from local producers, and also buy them in the farms of Novoselitskoe and Sovetsky districts. We process 18 tons of milk per day, and due to implementation of the investment project, we will increase the capacity of milk processing to 40 tons per day, as well as expand the range of cheeses produced,’ said Vladimir Kravtsov, Director of LLC Vinsadsky Dairy Plant in Predgorny district.

Among other products, the company produces acidophilus - a product similar to a fermented milk drink, but using starter cultures with acidophilus bacillus. The latter has a more noticeable effect on the microbiome of the body than kefir, better and faster copes with dysbiosis, from which the demand for acidophilus of Vinsadsky dairy plant is quite large.

The company sells its products in its own retail chain of branded stores in Pyatigorsk, Yessentuki, Stavropol, Nevinnomyssk, Mineralnye Vody, Mikhailovsk, Izobilny, Zheleznovodsk. You can also find it in retail stores of the Caucasian Mineral Waters and Stavropol.

In 2020, the amount of state support for the development of dairy farming and milk production exceeded 400 million rubles. The priority tasks for the near future are the modernization of dairy farms and the increase in the number of cattle in the dairy sector of productivity,’ said Alexey Krisan, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Stavropol region.
