Russia has extended food import ban until the end of 2021
We will remind that the ban on the import of agricultural products to Russia, known as food embargo, was introduced by presidential decree of August 6, 2014 against countries that announced or supported anti-Russian sanctions: the United States, the EU, Australia, Norway and Canada. Since August 13, 2015, the list includes Albania, Montenegro, Iceland, Liechtenstein, which joined the anti - Russian sanctions, and Ukraine since January 1, 2016.
The embargo is extended by Russia every year, and since 2015 there has been a requirement to destroy sanctioned products detected in the country.
The decree on the extension until December 31, 2021 comes into force since the date of publication.
