Rosselkhoznadzor stopped the export of 54 tons of ice cream by LLC Unilever Rus to the USA
In the Big Port of St. Petersburg, the state inspector of the North-Western Interregional Rosselkhoznadzor Administration revealed violations during veterinary control of export shipments of ice cream. 54 tons of ice cream produced by LLC Unilever Rus were to be delivered to the consignee's address from Englewood, New Jersey in the USA.
During the control and supervisory measures, an official of the department found that the veterinary accompanying document indicated in the information on the origin of the products that the ice cream was produced by LLC Unilever Rus at the Admiral site (St. Petersburg, Krasnoe Selo). However, according to the data of the Cerberus system, the manufacturer does not carry out controlled activities at the specified site.
Also, during the physical control, it was revealed that the batch number and expiration date of the goods indicated on the shipping boxes did not coincide with similar information applied to individual packages.
In addition, the export of 45.6 tons of ice cream turned out to be impossible due to the time restrictions imposed on the manufacturer based on the results of laboratory tests for the export of controlled goods to the United States of America.
The North-Western Interregional Rosselkhoznadzor Administration decided to suspend the movement of 54 tons of ice cream.
