Agroholding STEP’ summed up the results of the 1st quarter of 2021. The company's financial indicators showed significant growth: OIBDA in the 1st quarter of 2021 increased by 65.4% to RUB 1.2 billion, compared to RUB 0.7 billion in the 1st quarter of 2020. Revenue reached RUB 6.8 billion, which is 39.6% higher than the same indicator last year (the 1st quarter of 2020: RUB 4.8 billion), reported in the press service of the Group of Companies to The DairyNews.

Significant growth was achieved primarily due to the application of an effective sales strategy in the "Crop Production" and "Agrotrading" segments, as well as positive dynamics in the "Dairy Farming" segment: gross milk yield in the first quarter of 2021 amounted to 19.8 thousand tons (+14.6% year-to-year). The forage-fed population of cattle reached 7,043 heads. The average productivity of forage-fed cows is 31.7 kg per cow per day.

The land bank of the Agroholding STEP’ is 566 thousand hectares, the company is among the TOP 6 largest landowners in the country and continues to increase the land bank by consolidating neighboring land assets.

Andrey Neduzhko, General Director of the Agroholding STEP’:

‘Favorable weather conditions allowed us to offset the results of a dry autumn, heavy precipitation provided the accumulation of the necessary moisture. For the harvest of 2021, a record 250 thousand hectares of winter wheat were sown in the Agroholding STEP’. This will allow us to get a gross harvest of 1 million tons.

The rapid growth of indicators and the dynamic pace of development correspond to our strategic goal - the creation of a leading vertically integrated agricultural company, one of the five largest players in Russia. We intend to continue to maintain high operational efficiency, increase production volumes and increase the land bank.’
