September was full of new products - which is not surprising - the opening of the autumn season with interesting tastes and solutions began in August. The DairyNews tells what products were brought to the consumer market by dairy companies in Russia and around the world.

Autumn is a time of novelties that are useful for the immune system. A separate requirement of buyers - the benefits must be delicious.

Sernursky cheese factory - one of the largest producers of cow, goat and sheep milk products in the country - has brought a unique novelty called "Kefigurt" to the shelves of its stores.

The idea of creating "Kefirgurt" was given to the company by the retailer Vkusvill. They saw a similar product abroad and offered to try to create something similar.

‘We appreciated this idea and were inspired by our partner's trust. This is a real indicator of our capabilities and the level of our work. Then there began a large and painstaking work of technologists who studied foreign developments and created their own product recipe. Our “Kefigurt” is unique and has already been appreciated by customers,’ says Elena Berezina, PR specialist at Sernursky cheese factory.

Another functional product - "Biokefirny" is a novelty in the line of natural functional dairy products of "Bioactiv" brand.

Bio-kefir "Biaktiv" is enriched with bifidobacteria and inulin (dietary fiber), which provide comfortable digestion and strengthen the human immune system. Its composition was developed taking into account the methodological recommendations of MP 2.3.1.2432-08 "Norms of physiological needs in energy and food substances for various groups of the Russian population". Nutritionists note the effectiveness of such products not only to increase the body's defenses, but also to normalize weight. Therefore, the new "Biactive" will certainly appeal to people who want to be in shape.

Kupino natural ice cream factory presents bright winter novelties to the market.

This year, the company has already presented five new summer products, including natural bio ice-cream with probiotics: vanilla for classic lovers, juicy strawberries for fans of diversity.

The new ice cream uses bifidumacterin – a probiotic developed in the science city Koltsovo, NPO Vector. The phyto-aspect is also considered: only 7% fat content, and the content of sugar and calories is minimal. A single portion of vanilla cup contains only 102 calories, while a strawberry cup contains 105 calories.

The company Kupinskoe ice cream goes further and creates a completely unique ice cream with jam from the May dandelions and almond biscuits. Dandelions, as a symbol of sunny days, will be a vivid reminder of the summer, which consumers like to be nostalgic about in winter. Dandelions for new items were collected manually in the spring in Yekaterinburg. Each bucket contains about 250 May flowers of summer.

Two more flavors appeared on the basis of summer novelties of the Kupino factory: Cedar and Peanut fillings.

Karat presented the collection of 2020-2021

At the end of September, the processed cheese factory Karat presented a whole collection of new products.

In the autumn of 2020, a new line of Karat for soups and sauces in foil blocks of 90 grams went on sale.

It will include four flavors: traditional "With onions", "With mushrooms", as well as "With salmon", "With greens" - unique tastes in the segment of processed cheeses for cooking. In addition, the packaging of soup blocks has become more appetizing and expands the consumption of the product – because it can be used to prepare not only soup, but also a rich aromatic sauce. Food tests showed that new packaging makes 82% of respondents want to cook a dish*.

In addition to the soup line, Karat also expands the classic category, adding three flavors in foil blocks of 90 grams: "Creamy"," With Porcini mushrooms"," With Ham".

The latest novelty presented by the processed cheese factory Karat is an anti – stress dessert cheese with "Chocolate-Nut" and "Caramel" flavors.

Karat also expanded the Violette Light line. As a result of research conducted by the client, it was noted that consumers prefer less fatty products with a softer and more easily spreadable consistency.

Institute of meat and dairy industry of the Republic of Belarus will present a new product-meat ice cream

Meat ice cream Ice meat is a refreshing original healthy product that can be used as a light snack. The new product was released in September: Pestravka pleased adults and children with a useful treat for the beginning of the school year. Indeed, 100-gram cheese is a great solution for both breakfast and a small snack during the day.

In fact, 4.5% curd of Pestravka is cottage cheese, only in a small package and a more tender, dense consistency. So far, there are two flavors in the assortment – vanilla and cheese with raisins: classic, always loved by Russians.

Kemps dairy plant, a subsidiary of Dairy Farmer's of America, introduced long - term flavored milk.

The drink is available in three flavors - caramel, chocolate and mocha. Designed for use on the go, it contains 8 g of protein and 25% of the daily value of calcium, and does not contain added sugar.

Milk with maple syrup

Flavored milk is gaining a new round of popularity in all countries.

Oakhurst Dairy, wholly owned by Kansas City, Kan, part of Dairy Farmers of America, said it has released a new limited edition seasonal product - flavored milk with maple syrup.

The drink is made from milk and 100% pure maple syrup, which the company purchases from local farms in New Hampshire.
