Despite the difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Poland-based Mlekovita exported products worth about 400 million zlotys (more than $99 million) in the first quarter of 2020. Compared to the first quarter of 2019, the export volume of the company increased by 30%, reports The DairyNews, citing the press service of Mlekovita.

According to its own information, the company exports about 35% of its products. Processing is about 8 million liters per day at 20 production sites.

"We are actively developing exports and are glad that thanks to Mlekovita, our country is known all over the world. And development in international markets continues to ensure the stable existence of Polish farmers", said Dariusz Sapinski, Chairman of the Board of the company.

Earlier it became known that a representative of the Polish dairy producer Mlekovita accused the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert of extorting a bribe of $500 thousand.
