Milk production in Moscow region in 2021 will increase by 40 thousand tons compared to last year, predicts the Minister of Agriculture and Food of Moscow region Sergey Voskresensky.
‘At the end of last year, farms in Moscow region produced more than 710 thousand tons of milk and the region took the 2nd place in the Central Federal District for its production. This year, it is planned to produce about 750 thousand tons of milk. To date, the gross production is more than 250 thousand tons, which is more than last year's figures by about 4.5%,’ the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the region quotes Sergey Voskresensky.
Earlier it was reported that the leaders in milk production in January-April of this year were the farms of the Leninsky, Zaraysk, Ozyory and Lukhovitsy city districts.
