Mikhail Mishchenko: export is the support of large producers
"Import substitution in the dairy industry declared by the authorities in 2014 did not take place,-said Mikhail Mishchenko.- In 2013, the difference between such indicators as the volume of milk processing and the volume of production of dairy products in terms of milk was 3.8 million tons, in 2018 the difference increased to 6 million tons actually due to the growth of production with substitutes for milk fat".
Now the Russian authorities are betting on the development of exports of dairy products. According to Mikhail Mishchenko, this is due to the reluctance to solve the problem of falling incomes and consumption in the domestic market. For the industry, this will also mean state support for mainly large players.
"The development of export of dairy products is a focus on the support of large producers",- said Mikhail Mishchenko.
