The greatest role was played by the increase in milk production in Latin America, the United States, Australia, India, the CIS countries and China.

According to the IFCN, the increase was facilitated by state support and favorable weather conditions in most of the regions. According to analysts, in 2021, global milk production may decline due to a number of negative factors, including an increase in farmers' costs for feed and other components.
