In 2019 Belarussian JSC Slutsky cheese factory exported dairy products worth $131.9 million

Slutsky cheese factory exports skimmed milk powder and whey powder to China, this share in 2019 amounted to $8.7 million dollars. The plant also makes its first deliveries to Qatar. According to the forum, the plant is one of the three best dairy exporters in the Republic.

JSC Molochny Mir, which exported dairy products for $131.6 million is in second place, as well as JSC Turovsky dairy plant with an export share of $69.4 million. The first one has increased its share 2 times over the year, working with 28 countries (for skimmed milk powder – with China and Saudi Arabia). The second one expanded 1.4 times over the year, the geography of deliveries covers 17 countries, including Ukraine, Japan, Mongolia, Hong Kong, the UAE and Turkmenistan.

Earlier, The DairyNews with reference to Head of the Main Department of foreign trade of the Ministry of agriculture and food of the Republic of Belarus Alexey Bogdanov reported that the export of dairy products from Belarus to foreign countries in 2020 increased by 6.1%.
