Yaroslavl innovation cluster for the production of cheese is included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, writes The DairyNews.

‘Inclusion in the register will allow the enterprises belonging to the cluster to apply for state support from the federal budget.’ said Governor of the region Dmitry Mironov. ‘Up to 100 % of the costs can be compensated if the project involves the purchase of technological equipment, training of specialists to work on equipment and software, or state registration of the results of intellectual activity. A subsidy is also provided for the reimbursement of up to 30 % of the costs incurred in the implementation of joint projects. Such support will allow businesses to save money and invest further in the development of production, improvement of working conditions and scientific research.

The agreement on the establishment of the association "Industrial Innovative Biotechnological (Cheese) Cluster of Yaroslavl region" was signed in 2018 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
