The Group of companies "Damate" imported a batch of cattle to the dairy complex in Tyumen region. The delivery was carried out within the framework of the project to increase the capacity of the complex to 55 thousand tons of milk per year, the implementation of which began in April 2019. The dairy farm "Damate" received 427 heifers of Holstein-Friesian breed from Denmark, the term of pregnancy of the animals is from 4 to 7 months. Heifers are put in 30-day quarantine, during which they will undergo all necessary veterinary and sanitary treatment.
To speed up the reaching of the declared capacity by the complex, the company will import a total of 1,250 heifers from Denmark, Holland and Germany until the end of 2019. The importation of cattle will take place in three stages. Next deliveries are expected in August and December.
The dairy complex "Damate" for 4600 heads in Tyumen region was opened in 2017. It was built with the participation of the company Danone, which buys the entire volume of raw milk produced at the complex for its enterprise. In April 2018, the company announced the beginning of construction of the third stage of the complex, as a result of the completion of which the number of cows will increase from 4600 to 6000, and the volume of milk produced will amount to 55 thousand tons per year.
