During the round table meeting organized by the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues, Ekaterina Priezzheva, Director of the Department of digital labeling of goods and legalization of product turnover of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, said that further interaction processes will be developed on the example of the integration of the labeling system with “Mercury”, writes The DairyNews.

The expert noted that today there are many tracking systems that complement each other. According to Ekaterina Priezzheva, three ways of interaction systems were tested in the experiment, the most effective of which is a mix of activities of the labeling system and Mercury system. According to this image, it is planned to integrate the labeling into other systems in the future.

‘On February 11, colleagues from the Rosselkhoznadzor, using the example of Auchan store, showed how you can track the movement of products from the manufacturer to the shelf. As a result of the meeting, we had several suggestions for what could be added. However, we saw that the system works,’ - said Ekaterina Priezzheva.

Separately, the expert highlighted the integration of dairy producers and printing houses. She reminded that the typographic method of applying codes was chosen as the most favorable for the industry.

‘By June 2021, 81 printing houses will be ready to introduce labeling. At the moment, 188 printing houses are in the spotlight. They are more or less involved in the experiment. A memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and printing houses. It provides information about the readiness of printing houses 2 months before the start of the process. 24 printing houses joined it,’ Ekaterina Priezzheva concluded.
