Butter and UHT milk rose by 0.3% for a week – Rosstat

During the week, butter and UHT milk rose in price by 0.3%. Sour cream and cheese became more expensive by 0.2%, cottage cheese by 0.1%. Pasteurized milk and powdered infant formula became cheaper by 0.1%, reported in the press service of Rosstat to The DairyNews.

In general, from March 23 to March 29, 2021, the consumer price index, according to Rosstat, was 100.2%, from the beginning of March – 100.7%, from the beginning of the year – 102.2%.

Also during the reporting period, prices increased for: wheat flour – by 0.6%, cooked sausage and sausages – by 0.5%, semi-smoked sausage and cooked and smoked sausage, margarine – by 0.4%, lamb, frozen fish, canned meat, canned meat and vegetables for baby food, bread and bakery products made of wheat flour of grades 1 and 2, rice, buckwheat groats, salt, caramel, lunches in canteens, cafes, snacks (except canteens in organizations) – by 0.3%, beef, pasta, vermicelli, black tea – by 0.2%, rye bread, canned fruit and berry for baby food, cookies, chocolate candies and vodka – by 0.1%.
