Boris Fishman: the situation in Belarus before the presidential election will not affect the logistics of dairy products
Boris Fishman stressed that now there is a lot of uncertainty in the market – both from the political and economic side. Clarity on the issue will appear after August 9, when the country will hold presidential elections, reports The DairyNews.
"We do not see a strong impact on the logistics of dairy products. Of course, we fix minor queues of cars at the borders, but this will not change the situation with logistics in a fatal way. Until August 9, there is uncertainty in the market - both in politics and in the economy. This week we need to wait – in the future, I think, everything will become clear", - said Boris Fishman.
The expert added that it is too early to give clear forecasts on the situation - everything will depend on how the presidential elections will be held, and how the results will be interpreted.
Earlier, The DairyNews learned that Belarus is preparing for the urgent mobilization of men for 25-day service. On August 3, President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko signed an order on conscription in August-November of citizens who are 18 years old.
