Belarus and Russia signed the balance of food supply in 2019 for 3 billion dollars

According to him, the Belarusian and Russian Ministries "managed to find a common language and hear each other" in the issue of mutual supplies during recent years. Bogdanov stressed that Russia cannot ignore the interests of its own producers.

"We were reproached that we supply cheaper raw materials to the Russian market and therefore compete with raw milk producers in Russia. Now it turns out that Russian raw materials are just a little more expensive than Belarusian. So, objectivity is on our side. But at the same time, within the framework of the last meeting with Russian colleagues and the development of balances for 2019, we declare with full responsibility that we heard each other and found harmony", said the representative of the Ministry.

He specified that the Belarusian side will reduce the volume of supplies to Russia of food raw materials in the form of concentrated milk and milk powder, but will slightly increase the volume of deliveries of finished products. "These are cheeses, whole milk products, cottage cheese, yoghurts, kefir, sour cream and meat", reported the Head of the Department.

At the same time, the balance envisages an increase in Russian food exports to Belarus. "In this regard, mutual understanding, beneficial to both sides, was found", concluded Bogdanov.
