Alexey Bogdanov will present threats and opportunities of the dairy market of Belarus at the VII Summer dairy summit
Belarus, according to Mr. Bogdanov, plans to increase milk production by 2-2.5 million tons compared to the current volume by 2025.
– We have worked out a strategy for the development of the dairy industry until 2025. We plan that by 2025, in addition to the consolidation of enterprises and increasing their competitiveness in the world markets, we will be able to increase milk production by 2-2.5 million tons compared to the current volume. This will reduce the cost and allow entering the world markets with a large volume and range of supplied finished products, – said the expert.
Mr. Bogdanov stressed that the export of Belarusian food should be at least $6.2 billion in 2020.
We will remind that the XI Dairy Olympics will be held in St. Petersburg from 26 to 29 May. The event will bring together key domestic and foreign experts of the dairy industry.
