According to Alexander Izmailov, head of the Agricultural production cooperative "Zaostrovsky", during the quarantine caused by the coronavirus pandemic, there was no serious drop in the sale of milk through the main suppliers. Demand fell slightly in the sale to population in the range of 10-15%, writes The DairyNews.

"Critically, nothing has changed during the pandemic, the yield has even increased somewhat, we have brought the cattle to the summer pasture. There were difficulties with sales to the population, where supplies fell slightly - by 10-15%. But we have one main buyer, and we are paying him under the contract", said Alexander Izmailov.

The expert also noted that at the moment, feed prices in the region are stable, as well as the prices for milk.
