According to the results of the first half of the year, Russia supplied almost 100 thousand tons of milk and dairy products to foreign markets in terms of raw milk. Head of the Dairy Union of Russia Lyudmila Manitskaya announced this during the VI export forum «Dairy Belarus», writes The DairyNews.
‘This is 36% more than during the same period in 2019,’ she said. – Also this year, Russia received the right to supply dairy products to 60 countries. However, products were actually exported only to 17 countries. The largest volume of dairy products is supplied to Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan. If we analyze exports to other countries in August, it decreased. In August, 248 tons of dairy products were exported to China. In August last year, this figure was more than 900 tons.
Thus, the exports of dairy products, according to Lyudmila Manitskaya is not developing as rapidly as we would like.
