Vladimir Putin: in four years later we we should export more food than we import

In 2017 Russia increased its exports of food and agricultural raw materials by 21.5% to $20.3 billion. More than 37% of deliveries fell on the grain, said Head of the state Vladimir Putin during his address to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. "Agriculture should be further developed," the President stressed.
"It is necessary to work out the extension of tariffs for the transportation of grain: to export more food than to import in four years", - said Vladimir Putin.
We will remind, at the end of February there were received 368 applications from JSC "RZD" for preferential transportations of grain.
Following the results of 28 meetings of the Commission on consideration of shipper’s documents it was agreed to export 756 thousand tons of grain for the total amount of subsidies of 701.5 million rubles (11 006 cars) at the preferential rate.
