Vladimir Labinov: to dish out money to everybody randomly – is incorrect

Head of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Breeding at Russian Ministry of Agriculture Vladimir Labinov hold a meeting devoted to subsidies per 1 liter of realized commercial milk allocation and alterations to these regulations. 

The majority of meeting participants supported the current way of subsidies per 1 kg of commercial milk allocation – based on differentiated approach to milk quality and calf crop not less than 70 heads per 100 cows. 

Vladimir Labinov noted that the way of subsidies per 1 kg of commercial milk allocation are valid since the beginning of 2013 and during this period a number of proposals regarding some of its aspect were made. The majority of proposals are designed at subsidy rate adjustment for milk of I and Extra class, to calf crop, fat and protein content requirements exclusion. The requirements are aimed at efficient milk producers, said Mr. Labinov, adding, that to dish out money to everybody randomly – is incorrect.
