The volume of milk sales in agricultural organizations has increased by 7.9%

According to operational data of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia, as of January 27, 2020, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural organizations amounted to 46.6 thousand tons, which is 7.5% more than the same figure in 2019 (3.3 thousand tons), writes The DairyNews with reference to the press service of the Ministry.

Maximum sales volumes were achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar region, Voronezh, Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Leningrad, Moscow, Belgorod, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod and Vologda regions, the republics of Udmurtia and Bashkortostan, as well as Altai region.

The average milk yield from one cow per day was 16.59 kg, which is 1.20 kg more than a year earlier. The leaders among the regions in this indicator are Leningrad, Kaluga, Lipetsk, Kirov, Vologda, Kaliningrad, Vladimir, Moscow, Sverdlovsk, Ryazan, Belgorod, Penza and Voronezh regions, Krasnodar region, and the Republic of Karelia, which received more than 20 kg of milk per cow per day.
