The "Honest mark" system allows you to track the path of goods from the plant to the counter. Labeling is already mandatory for fur products (fur coats), tobacco products, and certain types of medicines. In 2020, mandatory labeling of shoes, other medicines, alternative tobacco products, cameras, tires, perfumes and toilet water should be implemented. A special digital Data matrix code is applied to the products, which can be scanned when they are received at the warehouse and during the sale in the store.
Mr. Yusupov said that other major retail chains were not offered to participate in the testing. He explained that “Magnit” has a lot of suppliers of products and other goods and sells all marked products, except cameras and fur coats. In addition, the network has wholesale divisions and its own electronic document management system, where the CATD will check the labeling processes.
A representative of the retailer said that the manufacturer of dairy products "Vakinskoe Agro" will take part in the experiment. We remind that the Ministry of industry and trade proposed to start registering dairy products in the system of manufacturers since June 1. Since December 1, 2020, it is proposed to start mandatory labeling of products with an expiration date of more than 1 year, and since March 1, 2021 - products with an expiration date of less than one year. The National Union of milk producers (Soyuzmoloko) believes that the introduction of labeling for this type of product is generally impractical because of the small share of falsified products (less than 1%). Also, labeling imposes significant costs, which can affect the cost of dairy products.
