The share of Belarus in shipments of dairy products to Russia has reached 86%

The share of Belarus is 86% of the total exports of dairy products to Russia, reports the Rosselkhoznadzor, quoted by Interfax.
The growth of supply has been observed year by year, said at the Ministry. Thus, according to the FCS, in 2014 764 thousand 635 tons of dairy products were received from Belarus. In 2017, this figure reached 950 thousand 548 tons. Thus, the increase in three years amounted to 24%.

Kazakhstan is the second in the rating of suppliers of dairy products to Russia. At the same time, the share of dairy products from this state amounted to only 3% of the total supply, the service clarifies.

Dairy products from New Zealand take only 2% of Russian dairy imports, reports The DairyNews.

Earlier it was reported that according to the Rosselkhoznadzor, deliveries of finished dairy and milk containing products produced by Belarusian plants are limited from 12 enterprises, and the ban is also applied to four plants engaged not only in the production but also in the storage of such products.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of agriculture intends to tighten the rules of import of Belarusian dairy products.
