Following the results of inspections the Rosselkhoznadzor lifts the ban on the export of products from Belarusian LLC "Nesvizhskiy baby food plant" to Russia since April 17.
The inspection of Belarusian manufacturers of products of animal origin was held from 8 to 15 April.

"Analyzing the preliminary results of the inspection, the Rosselkhoznadzor considered it possible to lift temporary restrictions on the supply of products from the company LLC "Nesvizhskiy baby food factory" since April 17, 2018, - stated in the message of the Department.

At the same time, the Rosselkhoznadzor decided to impose temporary restrictions on import of products from LLC “Molochnye Gorki” since April 18. The analysis of materials received during the visit of Russian experts to Belarus will continue.

The Rosselkhoznadzor banned the supply of products from LLC "Nesvizhskiy baby food plant" to Russia since March 9 because of the re-detection of milk powder in drinking ultra-pasteurized milk. The General Director of the enterprise Mikhail Derevyanko then said that the plant does not use milk powder in the production of ultra-pasteurized milk. "The technologies applied at the enterprise completely exclude such possibility", he said.

Later the Rosselkhoznadzor reported on detection of residual amount of antibacterial preparations of sulfanilamide group in pasteurized milk for baby food produced by the Belarusian plant. In this regard, the service promised to strengthen control over the incoming Belarusian baby food products.

"Nesvizhskiy baby food plant" is the partner of Russia's largest retailer X5 Retail Group ("Pyaterochka", "Perekrestok", "Karusel"). Since the end of 2016 the plant has been producing dairy products for X5 under the brand "Sarafanovo", which is jointly owned by companies. Last year the partnership was expanded, the company started to produce products under the brand name "Verkhovie" for the retailer.

According to the analytical system "SPARK-Interfax", 70% of shares in LLC "Nesvizhskiy baby food plant" is owned by Nomopoli Limited, 30% - by the former top manager of the company "Unimilk" (merged with Danone) Alexander Karanik.
