The Rosselkhoznadzor is planning to check the supply of milk powder from Kazakhstan

"We say — welcome and we will visit you to check where milk powder comes from", he added. The rapidity of the inspection, according to the Head of the Department, is due to the fact that the representatives of Kazakhstan notified the Rosselkhoznadzor about the inspections of enterprises of Orenburg region only a few days ago.

In early April the Rosselkhoznadzor instructed its territorial administrations to strengthen control over the origin of dairy products from Kazakhstan due to a significant increase in its import in the first quarter. The service noted that for the first three months of 2018, 4,041 thousand tons of dairy products were delivered from Kazakhstan to Russia, which in total exceeds the volume of supplies for the previous five years.
