The Ministry of agriculture presented the Top 10 regions on average daily milk yield

As of October 1, 2018, the average milk yield per cow per day in agricultural enterprises amounted to 15.12 kg, which is 0.81 kg more than a year earlier on the relevant date, reports The DairyNews citing the data of Federal agricultural department.

Leaders on average daily milk yield among regions are agricultural enterprises of Leningrad (22,9 kg), Kaluga (20,5 kg), Belgorod (20,1 kg), Kaliningrad (19,8 kg), Krasnodar (19,7 kg), Kirov (19,5 kg), Vladimir (19,3 kg), Vologda (19,1 kg), Tula (18,7 kg) regions and the Republic of Crimea (21,2 kg).


The daily volume of milk sales by agricultural enterprises amounted to 42.3 thousand tons, which is 4.0% more than last year (in 2017 – 40.7 thousand tons).

 

The maximum volume of milk sales per day is reached in the Republic of Tatarstan (3.3 thousand tons), Krasnodar region (2.6 thousand tons), Voronezh (1.8 thousand tons), Kirov (1.6 thousand tons), Leningrad (1.6 thousand tons), Sverdlovsk (1.5 thousand tons), Belgorod (1.4 thousand tons), Novosibirsk (1.4 thousand tons) and Moscow (1.4 thousand tons) regions and the Republic of Udmurtia (1.5 thousand tons).
