The Ministry of agriculture has supported 41 investment projects in the amount of 14.8 billion rubles

Deputy Minister Igor Kuzin said that the working group received 95 projects for a total amount of 26.7 billion rubles. 41 projects for a total amount of 14.8 billion rubles were approved for consideration and adoption at the Commission meeting. The amount of state support for approved projects will amount to 2.6 billion rubles.

The total amount of support for the compensation of direct costs incurred for the construction and modernization of agro-industrial facilities in light of the selection will be 12.9 billion rubles from the Federal budget in 2017.

The Director of the Department of Economics and state support for agro-industrial complex Natalia Chernetsova reported on the results of selection of investment projects in agriculture.

The majority of the investment projects are aimed at construction and modernization of greenhouses and dairy complexes, potato, vegetable and fruit storages, as well as breeding and genetic centers.

As regions-leaders by the number of projects selected and the amount of funds for reimbursement Natalia Chernetsova named the Chechen Republic, Krasnodar and Stavropol regions, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and Tatarstan.

In the sector of "greenhouses" most applications were sent from Krasnodar and Stavropol regions; of "dairy comlexes" – from the Chechen Republic and Voronezh region; of "potato and vegetable storages" – from the Chechen Republic and Nizhny Novgorod region; of "fruit storage" – from Voronezh region and Kabardino-Balkaria Republic.

All the projects were approved by the Commission on selection of investment projects aimed at construction and (or) the modernization of agriculture.

The results of the selection will be placed in the minutes of the meeting of the Commission on the official website of the Ministry of agriculture not later than in five working days from the day of its signing.
