He also noted that on Thursday, the national commodity exchange held regular grain trading from the intervention fund for export, which resulted in the sale of 4.59 thousand tons of wheat of the third class of the 2015 harvest for a total amount of 54.162 million rubles. "Since the beginning of the sale of grain from the state fund for export this year it has been already sold 556.51 thousand tons of grain at 5,254 billion rubles (excluding terminated transactions). The date of the next auction has not yet been determined", said the representative of the Ministry.

As previously reported, it is planned to sell up to 500 thousand tons of grain from the intervention fund. So far, according to the results of 31 trading sessions, there were sold 499 thousand 130 tons of grain (99.8% of the planned for sale), said the representative of the Ministry. At the moment, the auction continues until the full sale of grain in the amount of 500 thousand tons, he added.

In addition, the Ministry of agriculture is preparing a draft government order for the sale of additional volumes of grain in the domestic and foreign markets in 2018-2019 in the amount of 1.5 million tons. According to the Ministry, the draft order has been submitted to the Russian government.
