The Minister of agriculture of Moscow region Andrey Razin said that more than five billion rubles will be directed on the development of agriculture in the region in 2017. The funds will be allocated from Federal and regional budgets. This was reported by the TV channel "360".
"We have priorities — new dairy farming through the construction of new facilities and reconstruction of old ones, cheese production. At least 10 enterprises should appear this year. In addition, we plan further projects in the area of greenhouses," said Razin.
He added that last year the subsidies on dairy farming were doubled. Razin also said that this year there will be built 25 large objects, which invested more than 30 billion rubles.
Razin said that by 2018, the region plans to provide its residents with vegetables grown in greenhouses.
