Deputy Director of the agricultural holding "Lukoz", part of which is Sernurskiy cheese plant, Taras Kozhanov told about the plans to expand production at the plant, reports The DairyNews with reference to the press service of the holding.
"Our long - term plans include the construction of farms for 10 thousand heads. Work will be phased in six stages. The project will be implemented over 8 years. Investment will amount to 1 billion 200 million rubles," - said Kozhanov.
"We have been studying new technologies for the development of production of baby food made from goat's milk for a long time. We believe that the market is promising, and our plans are to form it", - said Deputy General Director of "Lukoz."
We will remind that in early May the head of the Mari El Republic Alexander Evstifeev paid a working visit to Sernurskiy cheese plant, calling the company "a bright example of successful economic response to Western sanctions against Russia".
