Rosstat: dairy products have risen in price by 0,1-0,6%

As follows from the materials of Rosstat, the growth in consumer prices for dairy products during the reporting week from 20 to 26 September in Russia amounted to 0.1-0.6%, reports The DairyNews.
Prices for butter increased the most – by 0.6% on average in the country.

The rise in consumer prices for pasteurized drinking milk was 0.1%. For rennet cheeses, sour cream and full-fat cottage cheese – 0.2%. Sterilized drinking milk rose by 0.3%. Since the beginning of the year the growth of consumer prices for butter was 7.1%. For full-fat cottage cheese - 4.4%, rennet cheese – 3.9%.

In general, for the period 20 to 26 September 2016 the consumer price index according to Rosstat, amounted to 100,1%, from the beginning of September - 100,2%, from the beginning of year 104,1% (in September 2015: overall for the month - 100.6%, from the beginning of the year - 110,4%).

During the week the prices for eggs grew by 1.6%, chicken, pork, margarine – by 0.3% -0.6%. Simultaneously sugar became cheaper by 1,4%, frozen fish, millet, rice, buckwheat - by 0.2-0.9%.

The decline in prices for fruits and vegetables on the average made 0,2%, including the decline on cabbage, carrots, onions and apples - by 2.0-3.3%, on potatoes – by 1.8 %. At the same time, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes rose by 6.8% and 6.3%, respectively.

The prices for automobile gasoline have decreased by 0,1%, the prices on diesel fuel have not changed.
