"Moscow regional goat breeding cooperative" received 17.4 million rubles for development
"The competition was won by the agricultural consumer cooperative "Moscow regional goat breeding cooperative" from Sergiev Posad. The volume of support amounted to 17.4 million rubles", - said the Minister of agriculture and food of Moscow region Andrey Razin.
The cooperative consists of 4 peasant (farm) holdings and 6 personal subsidiary farms. The Chairman of the cooperative is a farmer Maxim Sabirov.
"The winner plans to buy agricultural machinery, specialized transport with the grant funds. There are also plans to build and equip a goat milk processing facility. By 2024, the cooperative will process up to 180 tons of goat milk. For comparison - this year the farm processed 3 tons of milk", - said Andrey Razin.
This type of grant has been allocated in Moscow region for 4 years.
"In 2019, the Chairman of this cooperative has already received support from the regional government. We gave him a grant for the construction of a new goat farm for 500 head and for the purchase of a herd of goats", added Andrey Razin.
