Molvest: Roskachestvo violated the requirements in the study of dairy products

Roskachestvo violated the requirements of regulatory documents regarding the study of dairy products within 4 hours after sampling, said the press service of the company "Molvest", commenting on the results of the strawberry yogurt study, which was published by the organization in September.

It has to be reminded, according to the data published by Autonomous nonprofit organization (ANO) "Roskachestvo", the study included 26 of the most popular brands of strawberry non-drinking yogurts produced in Russia, as well as one yogurt from Belarus and Switzerland.

All products were tested on 62 indicators, including the study on safety, the presence of vegetable fats, antibiotics, dyes and preservatives in the composition, compliance with the actual components declared on the labeling.

The organization also spread information that it found exceeding the requirements of technical regulations TR CU 033 "On the safety of milk and dairy products" on the content of yeast in the following brands:" B. Yu.Alexandrov", "Iskrenne Vash (Sincerely Yours)"," Milkovo","Vkusnoteevo".

During the investigation, which was carried out by PJSC Dairy plant "Voronezhskiy", which is the owner and manufacturer of TM" Vkusnoteevo", it became clear that Roskachestvo violated the requirements of regulatory documents in terms of conducting a study of dairy products within 4 hours after sampling.

Roskachestvo purchased products and took samples on June 26, 2019, and conducted a study in a laboratory in Moscow on June 28, 2019, that is, two days after sampling, which is a significant violation.

In addition, PJSC Dairy plant "Voronezhskiy" found not only a violation of the time interval between sampling and analysis, but also the lack of information about the storage temperature of yogurt samples in one of the protocols on the basis of which conclusions are made. During this period, the product could be stored without observing the required temperature of 4±2°C. This could provoke the growth of microorganisms and affect their quantitative indicators. 

- Roskachestvo did not provide confirmation that the samples of our products were stored correctly (t 4±2°C) since the date of purchase (the morning of June 26, according to the receipt provided by Roskachestvo) prior to placing the samples in a thermal box equipped with a temperature control sensor (27 June, according to a report by the logistics company on the temperature regime of goods) to be delivered to Moscow for studying by the order of Roskachestvo. It is a violation of the storage temperature that could provoke the growth of microorganisms. Thus, the results of the study conducted by Roskachestvo cannot be recognized as reliable, - stressed the press service of "Molvest".

In the earlier planned studies conducted by independent laboratories (on June 26 in Voronezh, and on June 27 in Moscow, in accordance with the multi - stage production control system at the enterprise), all indicators of the same batch of strawberry yogurt TM "Vkusnoteevo" met the standards, including yeast – less than 1, 0x101, the mass fraction of sucrose - 8.36%.

It is important that the samples of products that were submitted for independent research in a planned manner and were collected directly at the enterprise of PJSC Dairy plant "Voronezhskiy", as well as samples of products that were purchased and selected by Roskachestvo, came from one batch produced on June 25, 2019.

In addition, Roskachestvo supposedly found chlorhexidine in our products, suggesting that "milk pipelines in the production of yogurt were washed badly". However, chlorhexidine at the enterprise is not used for cleaning equipment involved in the production of yogurt, including strawberry yogurt. The line, which produces yogurt of TM "Vkusnoteevo", is cleaned in accordance with the requirements of sanitary rules and regulations, as well as the operating instructions for the equipment. Specifically: alkaline solutions, hot water t 95 ° C and hot steam t 138 ° C. Therefore, the ingress of this drug in the yogurt in the production is out of the question. 

In addition, the requirements of the interstate standard for the safety and quality of yogurt (State Standard (GOST) 31981-2013), in particular to their organoleptic, physical and chemical parameters, the content of microorganisms (yeast, bifidobacteria, lactic acid microorganisms, etc.), as well as the permissible level of potentially dangerous substances (antibiotics, pesticides, radionuclides, etc.), do not include such an indicator as "chlorhexidine".

At the same time, the standards of cleaning equipment for the production of dairy products (including yogurt) do not imply disinfection with this drug. Therefore, it is not clear for what purpose Roskachestvo decided to investigate this indicator - just to spread false information about its presence in the yogurt produced at our enterprise, as well as to make a false assumption about "bad cleaning of milk pipelines after disinfection (comment:  Roskachestvo meant the disinfection with chlorhexidine)".

It should be noted that PJSC Dairy plant "Voronezhskiy" has the evidence of the above facts (official letters, research protocols, as well as documents that the ANO "Russian quality system" used as a guideline). Yogurt TM "Vkusnoteevo" maintains all quality standards, it is a useful and safe product for the consumer, - said the manufacturer.
