Mikhail Mishchenko: the system of consumption of dairy products is changing in the world
- Cheese consumption in Russia is not growing and it amounts to about 5.8 kg per capita. Consumption of dairy products stagnates, but not because the buyer cannot buy, but because he wants a normal product, - said Mikhail Mishchenko.
According to the expert, an important stage in the formation of consumer confidence is the harmonization of legislation and the removal of milk-containing products with milk fat substitutes from the current technical regulations "On the safety of milk".
- The structure of consumption of dairy products is changing all over the world. Young people do not consume kefir, drinking milk. They drink cappuccino and lattes, buy innovative products. And if the company invests in an innovative line for the production of kefir, most likely, it is wrong, - said Mikhail Mishchenko.
