On Friday in the framework of the Road show in Strasbourg the delegation from Moscow region held a meeting in the regional Council with the acting President of the French region Big East Jean-Luc Baul.
Presentation of investment potential of Moscow region for foreign business circles was held in France on 11, 12 and 13 October at the request of the Governor of the region Andrey Vorobyov.
The Road show "Moscow oblast is a comfortable Russian region for business. Opportunities for business development for French companies" was held in Strasbourg, France, the capital of Alsace. The day before the Road show was held in Lyon, and on 11 October – in the region Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes.
Earlier, the authorities of Moscow region and regions of France have discussed prospects of cooperation in the field of agriculture. In particular, the French delegation met the Minister of agriculture and food of Moscow region Andrey Razin. Businessmen from France are planning to create a school of cheese making in Moscow region.
The Minister noted that the French have large and ambitious plans. They want to create in Moscow region a school of cheese making in accordance with French technology and traditions. French colleagues looked at several objects, including in facilities in Lotoshino. And they are willing to purchase the premises and undertake the establishment of the school. During these negotiations there was also discussed the presentation of projects in the field of development of small (family) forms of agricultural activities, development of business and strengthening of friendly relations between entities of the two countries.
According to Andrey Razin, the plans of the collaborative partnership there was planned a project, under which pedigree livestock of specialized dairy breeds will be imported to Russia for the first time. The Ministry of agriculture and food of the region is considering this question with the Federal government.
