Five livestock projects are being implemented in Tver region

The signing of five investment agreements aimed at the development of dairy cattle breeding in Tver region was the main outcome of the business program of the delegation from Tver region at the 19-th Russian agricultural exhibition "Golden Autumn-2017", which completed its work on October 7 on the territory of the Exhibition of Economic Achievements in Moscow, reports The DairyNews with a link to the website of the regional government.
"The participation of agricultural producers of the Upper Volga region in the exhibition will promote Tver products to the capital markets, will allow farmers to establish new trade links that will provide additional opportunities for economic growth in the region", - said the Governor of Tver region Igor Rudenya.

In accordance with the signed at the exhibition agreements, in Tver region there will be implemented investment projects in the field of milk production and processing.

Collective farm "Mir" plans to build a commodity farm for 400 heads with a capacity of 2.4 thousand tons of milk per year in Torzhok district.

The project of a farm household of Andrey Tropin from Rameshki district involves the breeding of purebred dairy cattle of Swiss breed, production and processing of milk.

The company "Koshelevo" is ready to build a milk processing plant with capacity of 30 tons of dairy products per day in Konakovo district.

CJSC “Kalininskoe” also plans to expand its production; the plans of the farm include construction of a dairy farm for 500 heifers.

In addition, the breeding factory "Zavolzhskoye" is investing in reconstruction of meat processing plant. The estimated annual volume of production is about 16 thousand tons of sausage products.

The total investment in the implementation of these plans will amount to more than 693 million rubles. The number of new jobs is about 500.
