Federal Service on Surveillance for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-being stopped Fonterra products’ delivery
On August, 3rd Federal Service on Surveillance for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-being (Rospotrebnadzor) stops products’ delivery and sale of New Zealand’s milk company Fonterra. This was informed by local Mass Media with reference to the head of Rospotrebnadzor Gennady Onishchenko.
The expert mentioned that there was no official notification from international flow of information about the problem connected to Fonterra’s infected products. It is also undefined what kinds of products and lots are infected. Onishchenko also recommended to pay more attention to any production including infant food and any other products which were produced by Fonterra.
Fonterra rates 4th among international dairy producing companies. It produces 2 million tons of dairy products annually and exports it to 100 countries worldwide.
