Moscow regional Department of the Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) of Russia initiated a case against LLC "Gorodskoy supermarket" (brand "Azbuka Vkusa") and LLC "ProdMir" (brand "Miratorg") for creation of discriminatory conditions for suppliers of food.
Unscheduled inspections of the networks were conducted under the instruction of the government, which was given following the meeting of the State Commission on monitoring and promptly responding to changes in the food markets on 21 December 2016.

The violation consisted of "the establishment of various terms for payment of fees and fines in supply contracts, as well as various conditions on the periods of price change for products," reads the message of the FAS. This puts suppliers into an unequal position relative to each other, the report says. The Administrative code provides for this violation the imposition of an administrative fine on officials in the amount from 20 thousand to 40 thousand rubles, and on legal entities — from 2 million to 5 million rubles.
