The solemn opening ceremony of Penkovo cattle-breeding complex of APK EkoNiva was attended by temporary acting Governor of Novosibirsk region Andrey Travnikov.
A modernized cattle-breeding complex was previously designed for 1,800 head of cattle. After major expansion of the object there will be kept 5,000 cows that will produce 150 tons of milk per day. The total investment in the project is about 3 billion rubles.
The Head of the region visited the site of future construction of a plant for processing of milk and production of cheese. The beginning of construction of a large plant is scheduled for the first quarter of 2018, with commissioning scheduled for late 2019. The designed capacity of the enterprise is processing 600 tons of milk per day. Hard and semi-hard cheeses produced in Maslyanino are expected to be sold not only on the territory of the Siberian Federal district and regions of the European part of Russia, but also to be exported abroad — particularly to China and European countries.
