According to The DairyNews with reference to Interfax, the Antimonopoly service received a petition of LLC "EkoNiva-APK holding" about acquisition of 100% of LLC "OkaAgro" which is engaged in milk production, cultivation of cereals, legumes and oilseeds.
The sole owner of LLC "OkaAgro" (Ryazan region) is N. Gordeev. The holding company consists of 5 farms in five districts of Ryazan region. According to the rating of the Russian Dairy Research Center (RDRC), the company occupies 47th position in the top 50 companies - milk producers in Russia, producing 22703 tons of milk in 2016.
"EkoNiva-APK" operates in Voronezh, Kursk, Novosibirsk, Kaluga, Orenburg and Tyumen regions on the area of over 230 thousand hectares. Daily milk yield of the holding exceeds 600 tons of milk. The company is owned by German holding company Ekosem-Agrar GmbH. Earlier it was reported that “EkoNiva” acquired two dairy plants this autumn: the enterprise "Mosmedynagroprom" (Kaluga region) and "Anninskoe moloko" (Voronezh region).
