“EkoNiva” is preparing to build a dairy plant in Moscow region
The news that a new plant will soon be built in Stupino was announced by Stefan Duerr in the morning on his official Instagram channel.
"All agreements are observed, as well as the terms. As far as I know, now in Stupino there are preparatory works for construction", - reports the representative of “EkoNiva” holding to The DairyNews.
Earlier at the St. Petersburg international economic forum (SPIEF) it was reported that the beginning of construction is scheduled for the third quarter of this year, and the end of the construction - for November 2021. The volume of investment in the project amounted to about 36 billion rubles, reports TASS with reference to Stefan Duerr: "It will be one of the largest plants in Russia for the production of soft cheeses", told Duerr to reporters.
"EkoNiva-APK holding" has been building livestock complexes in the region since last year. A corresponding agreement with the government of Moscow region was signed within the framework of SPIEF 2018. According to the Ministry of agriculture and food of Moscow region, the holding plans to build 2 complexes with a livestock of 2.8-3 thousand cows each. The complexes will produce 200 tons of milk per day.
