“EkoNiva” has put into operation 3 farms near Kaluga for 8.5 billion rubles
The Grand opening ceremony of all complexes was held at the territory of "Ulanovo".
"In 2018 the grant from the state for the Kaluga division of Stefan Duerr was about 1 billion rubles. With such support, we will be able to achieve a good result", - said Minister of agriculture Dmitry Patrushev at the opening ceremony of the complex.
Complex "Ulanovo" is the sixth farm of MC "EkoNiva-APK Holding" in Kaluga region. Today, the share of milk production in the region is 50%.
"The volume of investments in new complexes is 8.5 billion rubles. By 2025 we plan to increase milk production to 550 thousand tons per year and to open another 8 similar complexes in Kaluga region. They will be more in terms of production than the complex “Ulanovo” ", said Stefan Duerr, General Director of MC “EkoNiva-APK holding”.
Governor of Kaluga region Anatoly Artamonov noted that these enterprises produce high-quality products.
"High-quality products will be produced here. Today we have good progress in increasing the volume of milk production", the head of the region said.
Milk from the farm "Ulanovo" will be supplied for processing to the enterprise in Medyn, which previously belonged to Yuri Luzhkov.
The farm imported Holstein black and white cows from the Netherlands, Denmark and Germany. The complex is designed for 2.8 thousand milking cows and 4 thousand young animals. The production capacity of the enterprise is 90 tons of milk per day.
The complex has three barns, a maternity barn, a silo area, five manure storage lagoons and a warehouse for concentrated feed. The equipment is the most high-tech – the rotary milking parlor of 72 places and the herringbone milking parlor of 16 places. There is established the modern system of flowing cooling of milk for 120 tons providing instant cooling to 4℃, safety and high quality. More than 100 jobs have been created.
“Kaluzhskaya Niva” has been working with “EkoNiva” in Kaluga region since 2006. It combines farms in Przemysl, Ferzikovo, Kozelsk, Medyn’, Dzerzhinsk and Maloyaroslavets districts. The agricultural enterprise specializes in milk production, crop production, seed production and cattle breeding. The total number of animals is about 39 thousand. Daily milk yield at “Kaluzhskaya Niva” is nearly 560 tons.
