Dvorkovich correspondence: budget cut may result in milk loss
If the state programs financing is cut by 15-20%, achievement of targeted in dairy sector indexes will drop by 30%. It follows from Arkady Dvorkovich work e-mails. Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation addresses the head of government Dmitry Medvedyev pointing out the fact, that planned by the Ministry of Finance budget cuts may result into Agricultural Development Program underperformance. In particular it is sure to slow down the dairy sector development, as planned in the program. Authors of the release mention, that the text was written by Dvorkovich for a narrow group of people in the beginning of July. Dvorkovich’s private correspondence was published in the Runet by computer hackers. According to the Ministry of Agriculture data, currently around 23% of Russian agricultural enterprises are unprofitable, 77% - are profitable and efficient.
