Dmitry Medvedev: It's time to abolish sanctions

Sanctions do not have proper effect, but lead to money loss. This was said by Russian Prime-Minister Dmitry Medvedev, who proposed the Western countries to settle the date of sanctions abolition.
Russian total trade with European Union used to be 450 million euro and decreased to 217 million euro, according to Mr. Medvedev. It is necessary to ask people in EU who manufactured products for Russia, who worked at enterprises – do they like it all, said Mr. Medvedev, answering a question by Global Conversation host Izabel Kumar. The Prime-Minister also said that it was not Russia who started to impose sanctions, and it’s not Russia who should start abolishing them. He also added that sanctions result in nothing, and it’s high time to stop them.
