CATD: the cost of labeling of one unit of product will be from 0.1 to 4 kopecks
"We cannot say that one or another method is equally well suited to all. It is logical to choose the optimal technological solution for each agricultural enterprise. The approximate cost may be as follows:
1. For large and medium-sized manufacturers, when printing the labeling code in the printing house, only technical vision is required on the line - the investment will be about 100 thousand rubles.; costs in terms of labeling of one unit of product - less than one kopeck (about 0.1 kopecks);
If the company decides to equip the production line and apply the code directly in the production process, the investment in terms of labeling of one unit of product will be about 4 kopecks.
2. For small businesses - small manufacturers - a set of equipment will amount to 15-25 thousand rubles, it consists of a thermal transfer label printer and a hand-held scanner.
Just to remind, Soyuzmoloko has repeatedly stated that the system of labeling of finished dairy products will bring enormous costs to the industry. According to General Director of Soyuzmoloko Artem Belov, the introduction of an additional traceability system, which is the labeling of finished dairy products, will cost the industry 25 billion rubles of capital expenditures and 20 billion annually.
The experiment on labeling of finished dairy products began in July 2019 and will last until the end of February 2020. On November 8, 2019, the State Commission for combating illegal trafficking of products, which includes the Ministry of agriculture of Russia, the Ministry of industry and trade of Russia and other agencies, decided to start mandatory labeling of dairy products since June 1, 2020.
